Compeer Chautauqua serves adults 18 and over that are referred to the program by a mental health professional.  These individuals are recovering from emotional disorders and do not have adequate support systems of family or friends.  The volunteer fills this void that may exist as recovery progresses. 

Eligibility Requirements for Consumers

• Have a diagnosis that meets the criteria for a DSM-IV psychiatric diagnosis.

• Seeking therapy.

• Compliant with treatment.

• Be 18 years of age or older.
